Refund & Cancellation Policy
At Digital Shakti Academy, we are committed to providing high-quality digital education, mentoring, consultancy, technology solutions, and professional services. Because many of our products involve immediate access to digital content, intellectual property, mentor time, and dedicated implementation, we follow a generally NON-REFUNDABLE POLICY.
Please read this Refund & Cancellation Policy carefully before purchasing any product, course, membership or service. By completing a purchase or making payment to Digital Shakti Academy, you acknowledge that you have reviewed and accepted this Policy.
1. General Refund Policy
Important – Please Read Before Making Payment
Except where otherwise expressly stated by Digital Shakti Academy or where a refund or other remedy is required under applicable law, ALL PRODUCTS AND SERVICES PURCHASED FROM DIGITAL SHAKTI ACADEMY ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.
This policy applies to, among other things:
- Online courses & Offline courses
- Membership programmes & Recorded training
- Digital products, E-books, Templates & Checklists
- Prompt libraries & Digital resources
- Webinars, Workshops & Masterclasses
- Coaching, Mentoring & Consultation
- Project consultancy & Strategy services
- Website development & Android application development
- Learning Management System (LMS) development
- Automation services & Digital marketing services
- Professional services & Other paid offerings provided by Digital Shakti Academy
Users should therefore carefully review the relevant product description, course curriculum, membership benefits, service scope, pricing, deliverables, access duration, eligibility requirements, technical requirements, and Terms & Conditions before making payment.
2. Digital Courses
Payments made for Digital Shakti Academy online or recorded courses are generally non-refundable once the purchase has been completed and access has been provided.
Digital course access may include:
- Recorded videos, Lessons & Modules
- Presentations, Worksheets & Templates
- Assignments & Downloadable resources
- Prompt libraries & Community access
- Learning Management System access & Bonus materials
Because such digital content may become immediately accessible after enrolment, cancellation after access has been granted does not ordinarily qualify for a refund.
3. Membership Programmes
Fees paid for any Digital Shakti Academy membership programme are generally non-refundable and non-transferable. This applies whether or not the member:
- Uses all programme benefits
- Completes all courses
- Attends all live sessions
- Uses the community
- Downloads resources
- Participates in mentoring
- Takes advantage of bonuses
Membership fees provide access to the benefits offered under the particular membership level. Failure to use some or all membership benefits does not ordinarily create a right to a refund.
4. Digital Products and Downloadable Materials
Payments for downloadable or electronically delivered products are generally non-refundable once access or delivery has been provided. These products may include:
- E-books, PDFs, Checklists & Worksheets
- Templates, Guides & Prompt collections
- Reports & Recorded webinars
- Digital toolkits, Business & Training resources
Because these products can ordinarily be copied, downloaded or consumed immediately after delivery, refunds will not normally be provided after access has been granted.
5. Live Webinars, Workshops and Masterclasses
Registration fees for live webinars, workshops, masterclasses, boot camps, training events, and special learning sessions are generally non-refundable.
If a participant is unable to attend after registration, Digital Shakti Academy may, where reasonably possible and at its discretion, provide:
- Access to a recording
- Access to another batch
- Rescheduling
- An alternative learning opportunity
Such accommodation is discretionary unless expressly included in the programme terms. Failure to attend a scheduled event does not automatically entitle the participant to a refund.
6. Coaching and Mentoring Programmes
Payments for coaching or mentoring programmes are generally non-refundable once registration has been confirmed or programme resources have been allocated. This includes:
- One-to-one mentoring & Group mentoring
- Business coaching & Digital-business coaching
- Strategy sessions
- Accountability programmes & Implementation programmes
Once mentor time, programme slots or supporting resources have been reserved, fees will ordinarily not be refunded because a participant later chooses not to continue.
7. Consultation Services
Payments made for consultation appointments are generally non-refundable once the consultation has:
- Been scheduled
- Been conducted
- Commenced
- Required professional preparation
If you cannot attend a scheduled consultation, please inform Digital Shakti Academy as early as reasonably possible. Where practical, we may permit one rescheduling opportunity at our discretion. Repeated non-attendance or failure to attend without notice may result in the consultation being considered completed.
8. Project Consultancy
Payments made towards project consultancy are generally non-refundable once professional work has commenced. Professional work may be considered to have commenced when Digital Shakti Academy has undertaken activities including:
- Project evaluation & Research
- Meetings & Analysis
- Project planning & Documentation
- Report preparation & Feasibility assessment
- Strategy development & Resource allocation
- Technical evaluation
Once expertise and professional resources have been committed to an assignment, amounts paid towards that work will ordinarily not be refundable.
9. Website Development
Payments made for website-development projects are generally non-refundable after project commencement. Project commencement may include:
- Requirement analysis & Consultation
- Website planning, Wireframing & UI/UX work
- Theme configuration, Development & Coding
- Content integration, Plugin configuration, Testing & Deployment
If a client voluntarily cancels a project after work has commenced, amounts already paid will normally be retained towards work completed, time spent, resource allocation, third-party costs, administrative costs, and opportunity costs. Any outstanding amount may remain payable where work completed exceeds the amount already paid, subject to the project agreement.
10. Android Application Development
Payments for Android application development are generally non-refundable once development or project planning has begun. This may include:
- Requirement gathering & UI/UX design
- Application architecture & Coding
- API integration, Testing & Debugging
- Deployment preparation
Client-requested cancellation after commencement does not ordinarily create a right to recover amounts already paid for work performed or resources committed.
11. LMS Development
Payments made for Learning Management System development, configuration or customisation are generally non-refundable once work has commenced. This includes LMS architecture, course configuration, user-management setup, payment integration, website integration, automation, testing, and content migration.
Any third-party software or licence expenses incurred for the project are also ordinarily non-refundable.
12. Automation and Digital System Services
Payments made for business automation, CRM configuration, marketing automation, email automation, WhatsApp automation, AI automation, funnel systems, and workflow development are generally non-refundable once analysis, configuration or implementation work begins.
Many such services require dedicated professional time and third-party system configuration that cannot easily be reversed.
13. Digital Marketing and Professional Services
Fees paid for professional services such as Search Engine Optimization (SEO), social-media marketing, content strategy, digital advertising, lead-generation systems, marketing consultation, and digital strategy are generally non-refundable for work already performed or periods for which resources have already been allocated.
Digital marketing involves ongoing work and external market conditions. Lack of a specific business result does not itself entitle a client to a refund unless the service agreed was materially not delivered, subject to applicable law.
14. Project Advance Payments
Where an advance payment is required to initiate a project, that payment is utilized for reserving project resources, professional time, planning, research, design, development, technology purchases, and administrative preparation. Once project work has commenced or resources have been allocated, the advance is ordinarily non-refundable.
15. Instalment Payments
Where Digital Shakti Academy allows payment in instalments, the instalment arrangement is a payment convenience and does not represent separate purchases.
Once access to the relevant programme or service has been granted, the purchaser remains responsible for paying agreed instalments according to the applicable payment plan. Stopping participation does not automatically cancel outstanding payment obligations.
16. Failure to Complete a Course
A learner is responsible for completing a course within the applicable access period. Refunds will not ordinarily be provided because a learner:
- Does not start or complete the course
- Does not watch all lessons or submit assignments
- Does not attend mentoring or use community access
- Changes personal priorities or becomes too busy to continue
Purchasing a programme provides access to the learning opportunity; participation and completion remain the learner’s responsibility.
17. Change of Mind
A change of mind after purchase does not ordinarily qualify for a refund. Examples include statements such as “I no longer want the programme,” “I changed my business plan,” “I am too busy,” “I decided to learn something else,” or “I bought another course.” Users are encouraged to make an informed decision before completing payment.
18. Incorrect Purchase
If you accidentally purchase the wrong Digital Shakti Academy programme, contact us promptly before accessing or consuming the digital content. Where reasonably possible, Digital Shakti Academy may consider transferring the amount towards another suitable programme.
Any adjustment is discretionary and subject to the circumstances, price differences, and access status. This provision does not create an automatic right to transfer or refund.
19. Duplicate Payments
If you are accidentally charged more than once for the same transaction, please contact Digital Shakti Academy promptly. After verification, an actual duplicate payment may be reversed, refunded, or adjusted against another amount owed.
You may be required to provide transaction IDs, payment receipts, bank reference numbers, or screenshots. A verified duplicate-payment correction is not considered cancellation of the underlying purchase.
20. Payment Failed But Amount Debited
Sometimes a bank or payment gateway debits an amount even though the payment appears unsuccessful on our website. Where this occurs:
- Please first allow the payment provider’s normal reconciliation period.
- Many failed transactions are automatically reversed by the bank or gateway within normal working timelines.
- If the transaction remains unresolved, contact us with the relevant transaction details for verification.
The timing of a bank or gateway reversal depends upon the relevant financial institution.
21. Digital Access Technical Issues
A technical difficulty accessing content does not automatically entitle a learner to a refund. If legitimate access problems are reported, Digital Shakti Academy will make reasonable efforts to:
- Restore access & Reset login credentials
- Correct account configuration
- Provide reasonable technical assistance or alternative access where appropriate
A refund will not be required where the access problem can reasonably be corrected.
22. Third-Party Software and Subscriptions
Some courses or professional projects require third-party tools (e.g., Hosting, Domains, Plugins, AI services, CRM tools, APIs). Payments made directly to third-party providers are governed exclusively by their own refund and cancellation policies.
Where Digital Shakti Academy purchases a non-refundable third-party licence or service specifically for a client’s project, the corresponding cost will remain non-refundable.
23. Cancellation by the Customer
If a customer wishes to cancel a programme or service, the request should be submitted in writing to: connect@digitalshaktiacademy.com.
A cancellation request does not automatically create an entitlement to a refund. Refund eligibility, if any, will depend upon the nature of the product, whether digital content has been provided, whether work has commenced, costs already incurred, and applicable law.
24. Cancellation or Rescheduling by Digital Shakti Academy
In exceptional circumstances, Digital Shakti Academy may need to reschedule a live class, change a webinar date, change a trainer, postpone an event, or modify a programme schedule. Where this occurs, we may provide an appropriate replacement date, recording, equivalent learning opportunity, or credit.
If Digital Shakti Academy permanently cancels a paid programme before delivering it and no reasonable equivalent is offered or accepted, an appropriate refund or remedy may be provided.
25. Force Majeure
Digital Shakti Academy will not be responsible for cancellation, delay or interruption caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, floods, fires, epidemics, government restrictions, internet infrastructure failures, power failures, cyber incidents, wars, or major third-party platform failures. Affected services may be rescheduled or delivered via alternative methods.
26. Promotional and Discounted Purchases
Products or services purchased through promotional offers, launch discounts, coupon codes, festival offers, or special membership pricing remain subject to this Refund & Cancellation Policy. A customer is not entitled to a refund merely because the same product is later discounted, bundled differently, or offered with additional bonuses.
27. Bonuses
Complimentary bonuses (such as extra courses, templates, resources, consultations, or community access) have no separate cash value. Removal, expiry, or non-use of a complimentary bonus does not create a refund entitlement for the principal paid product.
28. Results and Refunds
Digital Shakti Academy provides education, training, strategies, mentorship, systems, tools, and professional services. We do not guarantee a particular income, revenue, lead volume, business profit, employment result, or search engine ranking.
A learner’s or client’s failure to obtain a desired business or financial result does not, by itself, create a right to a refund. Please review our separate Disclaimer for further information.
29. Fraudulent Chargebacks
Customers should contact Digital Shakti Academy first if they believe there has been a billing error. Initiating a payment dispute or chargeback for a valid transaction after receiving the purchased product or service does not alter our contractual or legal rights.
Digital Shakti Academy may submit transaction records, access logs, invoices, communication records, and evidence of delivery to the relevant payment provider when responding to a dispute.
30. Exceptional Review
Although our general policy is non-refundable, Digital Shakti Academy may review exceptional cases at its discretion. Any discretionary adjustment is case-specific, does not establish precedent, and does not modify this Policy for other customers (e.g., in cases of clear administrative error attributable to Digital Shakti Academy).
31. Statutory Consumer Rights
Nothing in this Refund & Cancellation Policy is intended to remove or restrict any consumer right or remedy that cannot legally be excluded under applicable Indian law. Where mandatory legal requirements mandate a refund or remedy, that requirement will prevail over conflicting terms.
32. How to Request a Refund Review
Where you believe that your circumstances fall within an applicable exception or statutory entitlement, please email: connect@digitalshaktiacademy.com with “Refund Review Request” in the subject line, including:
- Full name, Registered email & Mobile number
- Programme/service name, Date of payment & Amount paid
- Transaction ID and Invoice number (if available)
- Detailed explanation and supporting evidence
Submitting a request does not itself guarantee that a refund will be approved.
33. Refund Method
Where a refund is approved, it will normally be processed using the original or appropriate payment method after verification. Processing times may vary based on banks, card networks, and UPI payment gateways.
34. Cancellation of Recurring Services
Where Digital Shakti Academy introduces a recurring or subscription-based product, cancellation will ordinarily stop future renewals according to the applicable terms. Cancellation of future renewal will not ordinarily produce a retrospective refund for periods already purchased or used.
35. Relationship with Other Policies
This Refund & Cancellation Policy should be read together with our Privacy Policy, Terms & Conditions, and Disclaimer. If a specific project is governed by a separate signed proposal or Statement of Work, project-specific refund terms in that document will apply.
36. Changes to this Policy
Digital Shakti Academy may update this Refund & Cancellation Policy periodically to reflect changes in products, services, payment practices, technology, and legal requirements. The current version will always be published on this page with the latest revision date.
37. Governing Law
This Policy will be interpreted in accordance with the laws of India. Nothing in this Policy is intended to override mandatory consumer-protection requirements under applicable law.
